Order a Personalised Life Event Marker (LEM)
Recorded human history spans barely 10,000 years; complex life has been determined to have existed on Earth for less that 20% of its 4.5 billion year existence. The purpose of the life event marker is to portray a glimpse of where we fit into history, and the history of the Earth. This is portrayed logarithmically in multiples of the recipients’ age. A summary of events through the recipients’ life time is included with a profile of their birth year. For each time point a number of points of that time are noted. This gives 9 historical points, the year of birth, events of the lifetime and distances travelled. These can be customised where possible to accommodate the recipients’ interests. The LEM will also inform the client on how far they have travelled through the universe in kilometres since they were born.
The standard LEM is a text based document. The Life Project Collaborative offers a range of LEM optional extras which can be embedded into the LEM (most are also sold separately).
Optional Extras
- The Illustrated LEM (A number of the events listed within the LEM will feature accompanying illustrations)
- Photographic documentation of the client embedded within the LEM from childhood to the current day
- An animated introduction explaining life in space time and the tree of life
- An animated flight through your family tree as you travel through space time
- Photographic documentation of the client chronologically wrapped around their body in space time.

By exporting the information from a family tree program as a .ged file.
- As a spreadsheet (you can use this downloadable simple spreadsheet if you like)
- Or just write a list of the people, their date of birth, mother, and father. If you have a diagram that will do to!
